Note: "The Lost Tomb of the Queen" could be played either as Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) or Murder Mystery (MM). Under CSI mode, players will collectively solve puzzles, investigate clues and interrogate suspects to uncover the truth and deduce the culprit. Under MM mode, players will take on the perspective of different characters and work with one another to deduce the culprit among them while protecting their own secrets.

Professor Francis is a renowned scholar in Egyptology, known for his research into the Amarna period where Pharaoh Akhenaten abandoned traditional polytheism for monotheism, worshipping only the sun god Aten. Much of the historical record on the topic has been puzzling, until Professor Francis theorised a timeline that connected and explaind all known events during that period from limited historical evidences.

Kindly note that we will collect a refundable security deposit of SGD 50 per team (not included in ticket price above) on the event day prior to the commencement of the game. The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of the session if there are no damages to the game items or venue.
There is no price difference between booking a CSI Game or Murder Mystery Game.

Q: What is this event about?
A: For the 2 weekends of 8 & 9 July, and 15 & 16 July 2023, we are hosting our latest CSI / Murder Mystery Game, "The Lost Tomb of the Queen" physically. Under Murder Mystery mode, players will take on the perspective of different characters and work with one another to deduce the culprit among them while protecting their own secrets. Under CSI mode, players will collectively solve puzzles, investigate clues and interrogate suspects (NPC characters) to uncover the truth and deduce the culprit. Players playing the CSI game mode in-person may also choose to dress up to immerse themselves in the gameplay.
Q: What does the ticket entail?
A: The ticket covers the whole experience of playing "The Lost Tomb of the Queen" for up to 3 hours, with a costume and accessories sets available for players to dress up and immerse themselves in the gameplay, physical puzzle sets, virtual interface to guide the players through the storyline and a dedicated Game Master.
Q: Who can play this game?
We welcome anyone in Singapore to play the game. However, due to the difficulty of the puzzles and storyline, we would recommend players to be above 15 years old. Players who are below 18 years old would need to have their parents or guardians sign them up for the games.

Q: Is your script original?
A: Yes, the entire game is scripted, designed and produced in-house end-to-end passionately by our team at AveLIVEX.
Q: Can I play the game in Chinese?
A: The game mode and hosting would be in English. However, our scripts have both the original English writing and Chinese translation available.
Q: I have signed up for the game, what's next?
A: Kindly note that we will collect a refundable security deposit of SGD 50 per team (not included in ticket price above) on the event day prior to the commencement of the game. The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of the session if there are no damages to the game items or venue.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your time slot as each session will end strictly on time.
Q: What if I need to cancel my booking? Do I get a refund?
A: The tickets are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to proceed with your selected time slot, you may email us at avelivex@avenevv.com with your Order ID (from Eventbrite) at least 24 hours before the start of your initial time slot to let us know if you need to reschedule the session. Please note that rescheduling is subject to availability of slots and you may only reschedule your session once.
Q: What if I have more or fewer players?
A: If there is a change in the number of players, please ensure that the number fits with the respective game mode's capacity (5-10 pax). If more players are joining, please make payment and email to inform us of the change 24 hours prior to the game. If fewer players are joining, there would not be refund on the reduction in the number of players.
